If you love great food with sports in a great venue, then look no further than Bokampers. Throw in atmosphere, excitement and entertainment and you have arrived.
The one in Fort Lauderdale is my favorite - it’s right on the intracoastal with amazing views.

Flanigan's
This is a South Florida staple. With many locations throughout, you should try to get to at least 1. The beer and meal deals are amazing. obsessed with the Big Daddy Burger.
My favorite is the one in Coconut Grove - south of downtown Miami

Duffy's Tavern
This is truly a stable in the Coral Gables/Miami community. They’ve been around since 1955 and have some of the best burgers in town. You surely won’t miss any games here. Come for the burgers and stay for the pints.

Miami Area
Versailles (3555 Sw 8th street, miami, fl 33145). world’s most famous cuban restaurant. I’m obsessed with their all you can eat breakfast buffet on sunday’s. if you want a real cuban meal, look no further.
monty’s raw bar (2550 S bayshore drive, miami, fl 33133). outdoor boaters dream with amazing views and delicious food/wine specials. mixed crowd of boat captains, college kids, and families.
Divieto’s ristorante (10650 nw 41st street, doral, fl 33178). personally my favorite italian restaurant in south florida. great wine selection, fettuccine made in a cheese barrel and delicious tres leches dessert
yardhouse (1681 lenox ave, miami beach, fl 33139). located in miami beach with some other locations in south florida, this place takes you away from the hustle of south beach and has delicious burgers and great happy hour specials.
little hen (3451 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33137). my favorite brunch spot. it’s something out of a tea party and the presentation of the food is perfection. maybe not the best place to go with the boys, but your girl will love it.
la Carreta (3632 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135). another great cuban staple in south florida. many locations in the miami area. it’s a great place to get your fix for cuban food.
Fort Lauderdale/hollywood area
Capone’s flicker lite (1014 n ocean drive, hollywood, fl 33309). Amazing water views & variety of foods. i love their deep dish pizza. right across from hollywood boardwalk.
bSquared burger (1021 e las olas blvd, fort lauderdale, fl 33301). in downtown fort lauderdale in the heart of everything. indoor and outdoor seating & great for people watching.
elbo room (241 s fort lauderdale beach blvd). a staple, world-known 2 floor bar across from the beach. something like spring break back in the 80s.
the parrot lounge (911 sunrise lane, fort lauderdale, fl 33304). beachside, large beer selection since 1970. known as a Philadelphia eagles bar, but don’t hold it against them.
Bo’s beach (600 seabreeze blvd, fort lauderdale, fl 33316). Two story, open air, ocean and beachside bar with absolutely breath taken views of the atlantic ocean.
Anthony’s runway 84 (330 W State road 84, fort lauderdale, fl 33315). family owned, family style meal with some of the best frank sinatra and dean martin music in an airport hanger feel.
15th Street fisheries (1900 SE 15th Street, fort lauderdale, fl). located inside of the lauderdale marina, this place is great for fresh seafood and a waterfront experience.

best breakfast outside of miami/fort lauderdale : Tom Sawyer’s restaurant (1759 nw boca raton blvd, boca raton, fl 33432). homestyle cookin and really, really good!
best brewery in fort Lauderdale : Funky Buddha (1201 ne 38th street, oakland park, fl 33334). fun brewery & their ipa “the floridian” is great.
best brewery in miami: tank brewing (5100 nw 72nd ave, miami, fl 33136). an awesome brewery in the miami area. i love their ipa “freedom tower”.
best brewery in wynwood: Veza Sur brewing co. (55 ne 25th street, miami, fl 33137). if you’re looking for a nice brewery in the world famous wynwood district, look no further.
best place to enjoy a drink & people watch on the water: the wharf (2 locations - 20 w las olas blvd, fort lauderdale, fl 33301 & 114 sw north river drive, miami, fl 33130). Outside entertainment.
